Non-Sober Socials

Circling and bar crawls are a key part of the Warwick society experience, and BioSoc is no exception. We organise regular circles and bar crawls, giving members the chance to unwind, socialise, and get to know their course mates outside of lectures. Whether you're celebrating the end of a busy week or simply looking to make new friends, our events provide a fun and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Check out our upcoming events below to see how to get involved!

Please remember that drinking alcohol is never required to take part in our events. Whether you choose to drink or not, everyone is more than welcome to join in. Many of our members attend our "drinking" socials completely sober and have just as much fun, so don't let that put you off getting involved! We also have a sober exec  member, appointed by our Welfare Officer, at every drinking social to help ensure everyone's wellbeing; find out more on our Welfare page below.

A message from one of our Social Secretaries

Hello, my name is Charlie Murphy

Our non-sober socials are the perfect chance to take a break from studying and get to know other BioSoc members. Throughout the year, we run loads of fun nights out, such as themed bar crawls around Leamington and Coventry. As well as an event called circling, unique to Warwick, where you will get to dress up according to the themes and play drinking games, often alongside other societies. Whether you’re coming along with friends or looking to meet new people, non-sober socials are always a great way to get involved, have a laugh and make some of the best memories of your years at Warwick.
