BioCafe

Transitioning into university-level coursework and exams can be difficult for many 1st-year Life Science students, which is why BioSoc offers BioCafe every Monday during term time at 5-6 PM in GLT3. BioCafe provides free pizza (Ooohh!) and aims to give 1st years additional support to ensure success in their Life Science degree. The topics range from advice on writing lab reports to tips on designing a scientific poster. Check out our events calendar to see what's coming up at the next BioCafe - we'd love to see you there!

A message from our BioCafe Coordinator

Hello, my name is Sophie Lawrence

Biocafe is a weekly biosoc event aimed at helping Life Science students with university life. We run a different session every week that aims to help with upcoming assignments, career planning and essential skills like public speaking. But more than that, Biocafe fosters an amazingly supportive community and is a great place to meet more people on the course in a fun, relaxed environment (and there’s also free pizza!) I hope to see you all there soon- Sophie
