One of a major event that BioSoc puts on are our academic talks, where we invite internal professors and external guest speakers to give topical, engaging talks on scientific topics not covered in the syllabus. BioSoc wants to broaden our members' scientific knowledge, show them what's possible with a future scientific career they may pursue after academia, and allow first-year students to meet the professors who will teach them their modules throughout their academic journey at Warwick.
