Summer Projects
Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS)
The URSS is a summer scheme run by the University of Warwick which supports Undergraduate students in gaining research experience. Students can apply to work with researchers in their department on summer projects they are interested in. After finishing their research over summer, students produce a poster to present their findings and experience at the annual URSS conference within the University. The deadline for applications is usually in February. You can also apply for the URSS Bursary to help with costs over the summer.

Students can also access cheap summer accommodation at the University if they are on the URSS. You can book rooms on Campus over summer for £16 (standard room) or £23 (en-suite) per night (as of 2022). Booking for these rooms becomes available from Week 8 of Term 3, so you don't have to worry about faffing about with housing sites until then!
