Our work together

Biochemical Society kindly sponsored us with a grant of £1000 for Outreach events regarding molecular biology in 2021 which has been and still is extremely helpful for our team of volunteers for unrestricted outreach projects!

Opportunities with the society

There are many benefits from our sponsorship by the Biochemical Society:

  • Access to journals - the society publish several journals with topics such as Clinical Science, Neuronal Signalling, Biochemistry and other emerging topics in Life Sciences

  • Career guidance - their careers page is very helpful and has a lot of cool tips on becoming a biochemist!

  • Volunteering with the society - if you want to do even more outreach work and our opportunities aren't enough, you can also get involved with the Biochemical Society's own outreach projects.

  • Science Communication Prize - be in with the chance to win a cash prize, a mentoring opportunity with a judge, and have your work published in The Biochemist by entering into the Science Communication Prize competition. Submit a written piece (<1500 words) or 2-5 minute video/audio clip with a bioscience theme aimed at the general public
